What is a broker?

Is there a charge for paying on my credit card or debit card?

There is no charge for paying on your debit card. However, there is a 2% charge for credit card payments.

I have a business and would prefer if somebody would come and visit my premises to go through a quotation and check the cover I have is in their opinion adequate. Can I arrange an appointment?

Yes, we are more than happy to visit your premises when convenient for you.

How can I pay the premium?

By cash, cheque, credit card, debit card or by BACS. Some insurance companies have their own instalment plan that we arrange for you.

I need to report a claim and your office is closed. What do I do?

There is usually an Emergency Phone Number detailed in your policy document.

I have a change of circumstance since I last paid my premium. Do I need to let you know?

Yes, you must let us know of a change of circumstances, for example if you change your car, or change your name.

Do I need to tell you of any non-motoring convictions I have?

Yes, you must tell us of any non-motoring convictions as your insurers will need to know this information.

I have been stopped by the police and I have informed me that my vehicle is not coming up on the MID, but I am insured, what do I do?

As soon as you notify us of this problem, we will re-confirm your details to your insurance company.

I have lost my certificate of motor insurance and need to tax my car?

We can send you a duplicate certificate for a minimum charge of £20., or alternatively you may request your policy number from us to tax your vehicle on line.

My property is now unoccupied. Do I need to tell you?

Yes, you must inform us as soon as your property becomes unoccupied.

Why has my premium gone up?

There are many different reasons why your premium may have increased, for example, rate rises or post code reallocation. However, we will endeavour to fully explain the reasons to you.

Will I get a refund if I cancel my policy before renewal date?

It all depends on how much cover you have had, and how close to renewal date you cancel the policy. If a claim has been made during the policy period, then no refund will be give.
